Nov 10, 2019 · Follow the steps to take backup of registry. Press Windows Logo key + R, to open Run dialog box. Type regedit and click on OK. Once there, on the right pane, double click on Allow Uninstall and change the value to 1. Click on OK. Close registry editor and try uninstalling Trend Micro.
Apr 14, 2020 · Report abuse. It isn't PowerShell per se that Trend is trying to block ... it's the command that PowerShell is being asked to run that's the problem. If you are running that command in PowerShell, post it here and perhaps someone will correct it for you. If you are not to your knowledge running a command with PowerShell you need to block it.

I bought trend micro antvirus i removed my norton antvirus through windows programs there were still files on my hard drive i used a norton removel tool from there web site the removal tool tells me it can not proceed until i remove norton utiltes 15 from my computer i can not find the program HELP

I will try to help -- can you send me the link to the Windows 7 instructions you used, along with a note about which step gave you trouble?
I am using Trend Micro Internet Security, which works well but will expire in a few months, so I will have to update it with a new version or a new product. Would the free Microsoft Security Essentials adequately replace it, and could I safely run Microsoft Security Essentials while Trend Micro Internet Security is still in use, or would they interfere with each other?

Dec 8, 2015 · I don't see any Trend Micro programs on my computer although there are two folders in the Programx86 folders: Internet security 2005 and Internet Security 2006. Those folders are just log files. There is a folder called PCC2006US_1400_1341 that contains an "uninstall" function.
