Update on Tessa Blanchard Speculation from Fightful. WWE teased a Diamond Mine act on NXT last week, leading to heavy speculation on who that might be. WWE sources confirmed to Fightful that it was not intended to imply Tessa Blanchard was joining the company. Blanchard has used diamond imagery in the past.
Blanchard was "livid" after a January tryout was cancelled by CBS due to COVID with David McClane getting the finger pointed at him. One source said to Fightful that things had to get bad for fallout to occur between McClane and Blanchard. McClane had stuck by Blanchard for multiple controversies throughout the years.
