Taft School is a co-educational college-preparatory boarding and day school for students in grades 9-12. It offers a range of academic, artistic, and athletic programs, as well as global service and leadership opportunities, based on its motto of not to be served, but to serve.
Competing in the Western New England Prep School Invitational on a terrific day for golf, the boys played well and finished second behind Brunswick School's team. Leading the way for the team was senior Michael Pangaro with an even par 72, which earned him 4th place.

Peter Becker began his tenure as Taft’s sixth Head of School on July 1, 2023. As a Taft graduate, Becker knows, loves, and values Taft’s mission and culture: its insistence on excellence, passion for community and belonging, commitment to improvement and to service, and pride in school spirit. His career has always been about students.
Tax-deductible Taft Fund giving corresponds with Taft’s fiscal year, not the calendar year. That is, the Taft Fund campaign opens on July 1 of each year and ends on June 30 of the following year. Last year’s Taft Fund totaled $5.4MM, representing 11% of the school’s total operating budget.

Taft’s Music for a While Performance Series is a well-known and highly regarded celebration of music and culture. Most performances take place in Woodward Chapel or Walker Hall, architecturally significant and historic venues on the Taft School campus.
