Salty · Season 1. Tim and Taylor Reed are brothers whose parents are killed in a hurricane that hits the Bahamas in this syndicated show. Clancy is an attorney who owns a marina in Nassau and offers them shelter.
Taylor and his younger brother Tim, age twelve, arrive in the Bahamas to live at Clancy's marina after losing their parents in a Southern U.S. hurricane. Salty is Tim's seal. Clancy has adopted the two and is giving Tim a home and Taylor a chance to work on preparations for a career in marine law.

Stories relate their experiences as they operate the marina, and the adventures shared by Tim and his pet sea lion, Salty. Tim’s friend and neighbour was Rod Porterfield (Vincent Dale), the son of a Nassau bank executive.
