I've heard they also have problems with this on Twitter and Google translate, but the Instagram mistranslation is particularly vulgar. I have no idea how translation models are constructed in the first place, so I have no theories on why this could happen.
Feb 22, 2023 · Amusing Instagram translation. As of December 2023 this has been patched. Possibly old news but I figured this out yesterday. If you comment "Ooga booga" and put two spaces after "booga", the translate button for English users displays "Be careful with the p*ssy". The two spaces seems important cause even one space doesn't seem to work.

Yet, the phrase as a whole reverberates with the sound symbolism of ooga booga, maybe because a double-cunted cum-guzzling gutter slut sounds like an ooga booga because of his pastimes, or he is disGUsting like an UGly BUG.
