Jul 5, 2018 · I've been with Oliver Wyman FS for the past couple years. Recently I was approached by BCG, went to interview, and receive an offer. The pay is around the same. BCG has slightly more interesting work, but generally it's pretty much the same job. I've build up quite a good network and reputation in OW.
May 24, 2007 · Although financial consulting sounds sexy, Oliver Wyman isn't exactly consulting hedge funds and PE groups exclusively. In fact, McKinsey and Bain are much better if you want to go after the big PE clients. The exit opps are pretty decent. Mostly into financial firms, not much breadth. Not at M/B/B level, but decent.

It seems like this is more of a boutique consulting firm as it is a lot smaller than others. I know they have a global staffing model which is a bit different than others.
