As a college preparatory school, Maybeck has high expectations of its student body. Our curriculum builds sequentially to develop mastery and sophistication in all disciplines. Students are placed in courses according to their performance level rather than their grade level.

Our commitment to serving students of diverse perspectives and socioeconomic backgrounds remains, with more than 42% of Maybeck Students receiving tuition assistance.
Tuition — Maybeck High School. for the 2024–25 school year. Tuition fees cover all beginning and end of year camping trips, textbooks, classroom materials, printing and mailing costs, student ID cards, graduation fees, transcripts, yearbooks, and other classroom expenses.
Maybeck Staff. As a teacher-run school, Maybeck places great emphasis on the autonomy of its teachers within the classroom. We believe that when teachers are encouraged to shape their lessons freely, they invest themselves fully in their teaching and engage their students most effectively.

Maybeck High School has a strong commitment to learning experiences outside of the classroom. During , the school suspends regular classes to allow students to take part in small group programs led by staff members.
