Madras College, often referred to as Madras, is a Scottish comprehensive secondary school located in St Andrews, Fife. It educates over 1,400 pupils aged between 11 and 18 and was founded in 1833 by the Rev. Dr Andrew Bell .
Madras College takes its name from the system of education devised by the school's founder the Rev Dr Andrew Bell. He was born in St Andrews in 1753, the son of a local magistrate and wig-maker. He studied at the University where he distinguished himself in mathematics.
Madras School of Social Work, established in 1952, located in Chennai, South India, is an Autonomous Institution, NAAC accredited and affiliated to University of Madras.

Jun 21, 2021 · The present Bell Baxter High School in Cupar was built with the original name of Madras Academy and the second school was created by amalgamating the old Grammar School in St Andrews with the “English” School to form Madras College.
Madras Medical College, being one of the oldest medical colleges, has a rich history and heritage. Several legedaries and luminaries have studied and served in this institution. The current administration under the Dean is quite determined not just to sustain, but, to enhance the glory of this institution.
