Sep 1, 2023 · The closest I can think of is the Kung Fury short that was released like ten years ago. Shoot 'Em Up (2007) has the total insanity but not the same comedic tone. Kung Fu Hustle smiles at you with its crazy antics, Shoot 'Em Up is a knowing smirk. RRR (2023) has the same level of joy and prowess as Kung Fu Hustle but lacks the comedy.
The movie is wild and with its meager budget, it makes you wonder why so many in Hollywood never swing for the fences and make something truly unique. I’m pretty sure this movie is talked about on a remarkably regular basis. It was the highest grossing foreign language film when it was released in US theaters in 2005.

Oct 2, 2022 · Stephen Chow has made many movies. shaolin soccer. The Legend of Drunken Master. The new movie Everything Everywhere All at Once is very similar and a great film 👍. Another Stephen chow movie, chinese odyssey 1 and 2. Shaolin Soccer has been mentioned but on top of that I’d recommend God of Cookery.
Aug 26, 2023 · There are a couple of jokes that seem dated as this film released in 2004 (there is some anti-gay language used, which is worse in the english dub) but other than that one bad thing, this is one of my favorite films of all time. Overall I'd still rate it at a 9/10. Definitely recommend for any fans of comedy or kung fu movies.
May 31, 2013 · Because style. Its funny while also having great choreography, effects and film sets. My three favourite film genres are Martial Arts, Comedy and Sci fi. To combine 2 of my favourite genres in one very well made film is a jackpot for me. I watch it with an old school friend whenever hes in town.

It's just hitting theatres in the US now, but you can watch it online at viooz or putlocker if you aren't averse to such sites. Try out "The Royal Tramp" part one and two with Stephen Chow.
May 26, 2018 · In Stephen Chow's "Kungfu Hustle 功夫", the two blind assassins use the guzheng 古箏 to kill their targets using weapons made of sound vibrations. There is a beautifully choreographed piece leading up to their final attack , a group of armored mummy warriors, which is ultimately overpowered by the Landlady's "Lion's Roar 獅吼功" attack.
