ADMIN MOD. 'Jiu Jitsu' was the literally the worst movie my eyeballs have ever seen. Discussion. I was scrolling on Amazon Prime and saw 'Jiu Jitsu' come up with Nicholas Cage. Martial arts and aliens, sounds oddly awesome, my interest piqued. Check the movies page and while I expected a low score was a bit amazed at the 2.9 rating the movie had.

Mar 28, 2021 · Jiu Jitsu is one of the worst films I have ever seen in my life. I don't even know where to start with this film. When I read that this was being made, I was excited to see a silly Nic Cage movie. I knew it wouldn't be great, but nothing could have prepared me for what was to come. I won't spoil anything, but let's highlight some key things.

Aug 24, 2021 · Meh. I went to a “jiu Jitsu” class in college. 3/4 of the class was doing tae kwon do style kicks and punches until the end when they did newaza. I think it’s useful to say Brazilian jiu Jitsu so you know you’re talking grappling jiu Jitsu via the mitsuyo maeda lineage in Brazil.
Nov 21, 2020 · Here is my take on the movie (going to try not to throw in spoilers, but a couple might slip in). First off, I went into this movie really wanting to like it. Nicholas Cage was in it and I looked at my wife and said it's either going to be amazingly good or amazingly bad. Unfortunately it fell into the latter category.
Mar 20, 2015 · For John Wick specifically they focused on Judo and BJJ as his back round and there's some footage out there of Keanu in a GI top getting trained which is pretty cool. They've also worked on some other stuff that had a lot of grappling. Man of Thai Chi and Sherlock Holmes both had some decent Jiu Jitsu in it.

Just like the Gracie's took jiu-jitsu from the Japanese and developed their own style, Americans have effectively done the same thing. I think most of the opposition people have towards the term come from a sense of nationalism or ego. It's all Jiu-Jitsu at the end of the day. Reply. No_Row4275.
