His dramatic performances in Spanglish, Click, etc are hurt by the genre of the movies which are cheap comedies (in the sense that the jokes are simple).

  6. Aug 3, 2011 · I Love You Phillip Morris. A remarkable film in that it moves quickly from comedy to drama and back and expects you to keep up with the shifting moods. Excellent performances from Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor. I really enjoyed it! It was one of those films that you never quite knew where it was going with surprises everywhere.
