Jun 10, 2020 · Service MS (Metro Shuttle) between Heworth and Nightingale Hospital – Daily daytime trips on this service previously operated by Go North East will now be operated by Gateshead Central Taxis. Frequency revised to operate daily every 30 mins with departures from Heworth Interchange at 07:20am, 07:50am, 08:20am, then every 30 minutes at xx:20 and xx:50 until the last trip at 07:20pm.
Jul 5, 2017 · Interview. The initial interview took place at the main Go North East depot at Gateshead Riverside, near the Metrocentre (next to Costco). The X66 bus there runs frequently from Gateshead, and the depot has its own bus stop just before the Metrocentre interchange. The whole process took about an hour, and was fairly relaxed.
Jun 10, 2020 · The Brand New E400s and Streetdecks have started to arrive. So far at Consett there’s 8 BN ADL E400 MMC and 2 Wright Streetdecks, Out of an order for 15 ADL E400s and 22 Streetdecks. All are for the X-Lines services. BN ADL E400s will go on the Consett services X30/31/70/71 while some will go on the Hexham services X84/85.
Jun 10, 2020 · Note: with X-Links, whilst I'm broadly ok with the concept, placing new deckers on the X84/5 was never going to pay it's way. Similarly, the arrival of the ex Oxford coaches was clearly not going to work (though were they foisted on the North East by group?) Go North East is a bit of a mess. The decision to close CLS depot was ill conceived.

For the time being Coaster is staying having only been introduced on the Hybrids since 2017 (Previously on Omnicities). 6069 also hasn’t been converted, 6064 is a trial I believe and is still away. 12 Jun 2020. #24.
Jun 10, 2020 · The North East Buses forum suggests those agency drivers were recruited for those specific routes, which is why those routes- and only those routes- are running. They can’t be redeployed. It is illegal to use agency staff to replace striking staff- the High Court re-affirmed this in August.
