Apr 16, 2024 · Engineer. Turrets and overcharging. So, I come from way back in the early days of GW2. Engi turrets didn't always only overcharge on drop. At one point, their respective buttons flipped over to overcharge them, and when dropped, the respective toolbelt skills became each turret's respective detonation button.

Imagine before the the 6th rune nerf, having a golem summoned, asecond golem due the elite skill, and the jade mech.. an army of golems, crazy.

Nov 4, 2021 · As power its a bit harder - holo uses sword/pistol or rifle, mechanist uses rifle or mace/pistol and scrapper uses hammer. Look which weapon you play on other classes and look if its also usable on engi and craft it. Like me that played chrono and crafted shining blade and is also able to use it on holo.
Jul 31, 2018 · Posted August 3, 2018. I play both of them a lot. Both Rev and Engi are pretty good. Rev is better at boons and ranged damage. Engineers are better at AoE damage and also have blind fields. Both have a strangely wide toolbox. As for how they compare: Raids: Revenant is better.
Aug 21, 2024 · It has been extensively reported that Engi spear 2 (the charge, which puts focus) is unreliable at best. My entire feedback from June 28 is still valid: Quote I did some extended testing on Conduit Surge (spear 2). Tooltip range is 700. If no target is selected, it will only charge 450 range.
