Pre War Buicks were assembled in London at a plant in The Hyde, North London (just off the Edgware Road) In 1928 there were no fewer than 7 different body styles on the 115" (Standard) Chassis-all listed in "Standard Catalogue of Buick" by John Gunnel- a really useful book if you don't already have one.
May 30, 2017 · 24 Buick I looked at an unrestored Sport Tourer at Nambour a few years back, with wire wheels. Is this the same car. The 128" wheelbase is the top of the line Buick. There is also a 120" wheelbase six cylinder and a 109" wheelbase 4 cylinder. 1924 is the last year of the 4 cylinder.
Feb 27, 2010 · Buick - Pre War. 1939 Buick. I've had this old postcard for over 30 years and finally run across it again. My question concerns that postcard. The picture shows a 1939 Buick 2 door. I bought my 1939 Buick 4 door in 1965 and if I recall I have only seen one 2 door Buick in all the years since 1965.
