Nelson Alexander Ross (born January 22, 1970) [1] is an American comic book writer and artist known primarily for his painted interiors, covers, and design work. He first became known with the 1994 miniseries Marvels, on which he collaborated with writer Kurt Busiek for Marvel Comics.

Alex Ross Bio. Born in Portland, Oregon, and raised in Lubbock, Texas, Alex made his artistic debut at three when, according to his mother, he grabbed a piece of paper and drew the contents of a television commercial he'd seen moments before.
Alex Ross is one of the world's most pre-eminent and well-respected comic book artists. His big break came in 1993 with Marvels, a limited series that took a realistic look at Marvel super heroes by presenting them from the point of view of an ordinary man.
