Now gas is sold by an average of the higher RON number and the lower MON (motor octane number). So today's 93 octane may be equivalent to 97 or higher octane gas of the past.

I know that we have 318 steel cranks, and it seems the 360 has different kinds of iron used.

The mopar number is 3642811 for 318 and 3642813 for the 340/360. The right side is the same for 318/340/360 which is 3642810.
