Chandrashekhar Vaidya (7 July 1922 – 16 June 2021), known simply as Chandrashekhar, was an Indian actor and filmmaker working in the Bollywood film industry. He was best known for playing supporting characters in films starring Rajesh Khanna in lead roles and later for playing Arya Sumant in the epic television series Ramayan .
Chandrashekhar Vaidya was born on 7 July 1922 in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. He was an actor and assistant director, known for Cha Cha Cha (1964) , Street Singer (1966) and Hulchul (1971) . He died on 16 June 2021 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
