Parveen Babi (4 April 1954 – 20 January 2005) was an Indian actress and model who worked in Hindi films. Regarded as one of the finest actresses of Indian cinema, she was one of the highest-paid actresses of 1970s and early 1980s. [3]
She was born in the family of the Pathans of Gujarat who were the Nawabs of Junagarh and belonged to Babi tribe of Pashtuns. She was born after 14 years of her parents’ marriage and was the only child of her parents. While she was in college, she started working as a model.
