He was a table tennis prodigy who began playing at age four and won the European Championship at 16. At the 2002 Table Tennis World Cup, he stunned the world by beating two of People’s Republic of China’s most celebrated players, WANG Liqin and KONG Linghui.
A former World Rank leader, Boll is one of the most accomplished & respected table tennis players of his generation with dozens of accolades on the international and club level. He is a 20-time European champion – 8 times in singles, 7 times in team events & 5 times in doubles event. Boll has twice won the singles event at the World Cup.
