The Thangal Kunju Musaliar College of Engineering, commonly known as TKMCE, is the first government-aided engineering institution in the Indian state of Kerala, with foundation stone laid on 2nd February 1956, and inaugurated on 3 July 1958.
Thangal Kunju Musaliar College of Engineering (TKMCE) was established in the year of 1958 at Kollam, Kerala. It is a government-aided institution affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. The college is approved by AICTE and has NBA accredited degree programs in Engineering.

TKM College of Engineering, Kollam (TKMCE) is a government college that is situated in Kerala and was established in 1956 by Dr. Rajendra Prasad. TKMCE is run by the TKM Educational Trust that is headed by Janab Shahal Hassan Musaliar and is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.
We are the only engineering college in the state of Kerala credited with the top-ranking status of "6-year accreditation" by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), awarded to B. Tech Mechanical and Civil Engineering programmes and 3 years for other UG Programmes.
