Dec 11, 2023 · The Ministry of Labour and Employment has launched eShram portal on 26.08.2021 for registration of Unorganised Workers. It allows an unorganised worker to register himself or herself on the portal on self-declaration basis, under 400 occupations in 30 broad occupation sectors.
Aug 30, 2021 · The e-SHRAM portal covers unorganised workers and aims to implement social security schemes. The workers will be given a new e-SHRAM card which has a 12-digit UAN number. Registration on the portal is free of cost and beneficiaries will receive accidental insurance coverage through PMSBY.
Dec 21, 2023 · Ministry of Labour & Employment has launched e-SHRAM portal, a National Database of the Unorganised Workers on 26th August, 2021. It has been made available to the States/UTs for registration of unorganised workers including migrant workers and domestic workers on e-SHRAM portal.
Access the eShram portal for unorganized workers to register and avail various government schemes and benefits.
Visit the e-Shram portal. Click on the ‘Already Registered’ tab and select the ‘Update/download UAN card’ option. Enter the UAN number, date of birth, captcha code and click on the ‘Generate OTP’ button. Enter the OTP received on the mobile number and click on the ‘Validate’ button.
The eShram portal will be used for enrollment, registration, collection and identification of the required data of all the unorganised workers. Portal will provide the facility to register workers by Self registration as per their convenience.
