Apr 10, 2024 · JAM 2024 facilitates admissions to various postgraduate programs including: M.Sc. (Tech) Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D. M.Sc.-M.Tech. Dual Degree. M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree. Admissions to over 3000 seats across 89 postgraduate programmes at 21 IITs will be coordinated by IIT Madras for the academic year 2024-25.
JAM 2022 Examination will be conducted ONLINE only as a Computer Based Test (CBT) for all Test Papers. JAM 2022 will have seven Test Papers, namely, Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS) and Physics (PH).
Candidates who qualify in JAM 2024 must fulfill the following Eligibility Requirements (ERs) for admissions to IITs. Candidates should have passed an undergraduate degree or should be currently studying in their final year of undergraduate programme.

Joint Admission test for Masters (JAM) is an all-India computer-based entrance examination administered and conducted across the country jointly by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) on behalf of Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.
JAM is an all India Entrance examination for admission to M.Sc. (Two Year), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree and other Post-Bachelor's Degree programmes at the IITs and to the Integrated Ph.D. programmes at IISc.
