M.S. Viswanathan was born on 24 June 1928 in Palakkad, Madras Presidency, British India. He was a composer and actor, known for Agni Sakshi (1982), Vishwa Thulasi (2004) and Lakshmi Kalyanam (1968). He was married to Janaki. He died on 14 July 2015 in Chennai, India.
