"Rock-A-Doodle" is a 1991 animated film directed by Don Bluth. Bluth, notably known somewhat as the creator of the animated features that were in direct competition with Walt Disney Animation, was leaving a prosperous late 80's run of films and jumping into a new decade of things.
Synopsis. Chanticleer is a foolhardy farm rooster who believes his crows can actually make the sun come up and shine. When the sun rises one morning without Chanticleer's crow, he leaves the farm in disgrace and runs off to become a rock 'n' roll singer. But in his absence, a sinister, sunshine-hating owl prepares to take over.
