The main criteria to be eligible for the Chiranjeevi bima yojana is that one should be a permanent resident of Rajasthan. Individuals who are in BPL (Below Poverty Line) category are only eligible for this health insurance scheme.
Apr 1, 2021 · Rajasthan on Thursday kicked off its cashless ‘mediclaim’ scheme worth Rs 5 lakh for each family of the state, starting the registration for its Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme. Registrations for Rajasthan Govt’s cashless treatment for all – Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana have begun in the state from today.

Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana is a government initiative launched by the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Mr. Ashok Gehlot. The scheme was introduced on 1st May 2021. Under the Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana, the economically weaker section along with the Below Poverty Line (BPL) families of the state can avail of healthcare services.
