Dec 13, 2023 · Henry’s sermon isn’t bad but it seems a wee bit humanist, as if people elect to do God favors. Yeah, I prefer The Preacher’s Wife, but The Bishop’s Wife is a classic for a reason. These two films are fun to watch back to back, if only to appreciate two approaches to the same story. The Bishop’s Wife is currently streaming on Amazon Prime.
