Jan 30, 2001 · Necessary Roughness is an excellent value for a classic sports comedy. It was just as funny today as it was when I was a kid. The actors did an excellent job, and the plot was light-hearted and humorous. I am tickled to have found a DVD copy for such an excellent value. Two thumbs up!
