Now, this 'Act of God' is fine print which is hardly ever ready by the policy taker, but can be used by the insurance agency to deny any unwanted claim. The insurance company invokes this 'Act of God' and promptly rejects the claim saying that 'earthquake' is not a man-made phenomenon, it can only be brought on by an 'Act of God'.
But what makes OMG: Oh My God! (terrible title) special is the message, which is nothing new or revolutionary, but being an Indian film it feels like it's pretty out there, and extremely relevant. As always when it comes to movies of this kind, it is what it is, and it feels unfair rating it as I would other movies.
