David Suchet is an English stage, television and film actor. After starting out in theatre, Suchet made his television and film debut in the late 1960's and rose to prominence in the 1980's. He has appeared in several television shows and films in a career spanning close to five decades, but Suchet his perhaps best known for his iconic portrayal of Agatha Christie's fictional detective Hercule Poirot.
