Branch Centres: As of 1 June 2024, the Ramakrishna Math and the Ramakrishna Mission have 282 branch centres all over the world. Of these, 214 centres are in India and the remaining 68 are in 24 other countries (27 in Bangladesh, 14 in the USA, 3 in Brazil, 2 each in Canada, Russia and South Africa, and one each in Argentina, Australia, Fiji, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, Mauritius, Nepal, Netherlands, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, UK and Zambia).

Krishnadevaraya was the son of Tuluva Narasa Nayaka and his queen Nagamamba. Tuluva Narasa Nayaka was an army commander under Saluva Narasimha Deva Raya, who later took control to prevent the disintegration of the empire and established the Tuluva dynasty of the Vijayanagara Empire.
The Ramakrishna Ashrama, started in 1920, was affiliated to the Ramakrishna Math in 2017. An affiliate of the Ramakrishna Mission was also started there in the same year. Activities of the Math centre: Daily worship, bhajans, weekly religious classes and occasional lectures in the ashrama and elsewhere, and online spiritual discourses.
