Stan Lathan (born July 8, 1945) is an American producer and director, who directed the episode "Glades" for the series Miami Vice. Lathan was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His career in public television led him to New York, where he began directing a new children's show, Sesame Street in 1969.
