4 days ago · +1 I have to revert to using Text+ Clips with the text background enabled in the shading elements. But the subtitle function is much more practical and in cases where I need both a version with burnt-in subs and one without but with a separate srt file instead, my Text+ workaround obviously falls short.
1 day ago · Don't use 2 Subtitle tracks, right click in the 1st track and add a Subtitle Region, then add your second Subtitle in that region. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

6 days ago · I don't know why but I can't add subtitles within Resolve. I can import and edit but not create. I've tried right clicking on the subtitle track to 'add subtitle' and from the inspector 'create caption' and also 'add new' after importing from srt. I'm on version 16.1.2
