Sep 15, 2014 · Devil's Tower is another fun flick about a group of people stuck in an apartment complex with a bunch of "crazies", with the added bonus of starring Jason Mewes of Jay & Silent Bob fame. I was hoping to upgrade my DVD to HD, so I purchased the Blu-ray release by Monster Pictures, an Australian company that releases may horror films on Blu that weren't released in the format in the U.S.

Devils Tower (also known as Bear Lodge) is a butte, possibly laccolithic, composed of igneous rock in the Bear Lodge Ranger District of the Black Hills, near Hulett and Sundance in Crook County, northeastern Wyoming, above the Belle Fourche River. It rises 1,267 feet (386 m) above the Belle Fourche River, standing 867 feet (264 m) from summit to base.
Devil's Tower is honestly a pretty good movie. It's not fantastic, but it's most definitely not a 1-star movie either. Admittedly it's a bit on the forgettable side, but the acting's good, the plot - while a bit all over the place at times - does hang together alright, the good characters are likable, the bad characters are easy to hate, and while it takes a while for anything zombie to crop up - just over an hour in - there's some pretty good supernatural scenes to tide you over before you ...
