Known to the world as Preki, the Belgradian-turned-American forward, burst onto the Major Indoor Soccer League scene with 71 points in his newcomer season with the Tacoma Stars. Tacoma finished 17-31 the season before Preki's arrival in 1985, but midway through the 1985-86 campaign the Stars acquired Steve Zungul from the San Diego Sockers.
