Amala Akkineni is an Indian actress, dancer Bharata Natyam, and animal welfare activist. She has appeared in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Bollywood films. She has won two Filmfare South One Awards for Malayalam (Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Malayalam – Ulladakkam – 1991) and One for Telugu (Filmfare Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role – Telugu – Life Is Beautiful – 2012).
