Arun Govil (/ ɑː ˈ r uː n ˈ ɡ oʊ v ɪ l / GOH-vil; born 12 January 1952) is an Indian actor and politician from the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is best known for portraying Lord Rama in the Ramayan TV series.
