Nag Ashwin Reddy (born 23 April 1986) is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works in Telugu cinema. After working as an assistant director to Sekhar Kammula , he made his directorial debut in 2015 with the coming-of-age film Yevade Subramanyam , which won him the Nandi Award for Best Debut Director .
Nag Ashwin belongs to a family of doctors in Hyderabad, Telangana. In 2007, he began his career as an assistant director with the Telugu film Nenu Meeku Telusa?. Later, he worked as an assistant to the Indian film director Sekhar Kammula in Leader (2010) and Life Is Beautiful (2012).
