I am also hoping for an update to fix this; have also experienced no audio output from davinci resolve windows version 18.0.4 build 5 after about 20 minutes of inactivity. As others have said, audio output still works fine from other apps e.g. web browsers, sound effects from windows system, etc.
20 hours ago · I',m using Windows 10 with Davinci Resolve 15.2.1.005 and a iPhone. I've HEIC pictures on my PC and can open them with the standard fotos app. Importing them into Davinci Resolve, I get a "Media Offline" warning.
20 hours ago · this is maybe helpful if you can't uninstall Resolve 16.2.8 because the ../Temp/ResolveInstaller.msi is missing.This solved the problem at least for me and there might be more elegant ways to do this with regedit or others: The question is where do you find the ResolveInstaller.msi? Use 7-Zip to extract the file: DaVinci_Resolve_16.2.8_Windows.exe

Wed Sep 27, 2023 8:41 am. 18.6 is plagued with tons of performance issues starting from audio not playing or having glitches to timeline editing performance to crashes The best fix for now is to uninstall 18.6 and install 18.5.1, the DataBase is still backward compatible so the process should go smoothly.
Resolve 15: White Screen Issues in Fusion Tab. Hey guys, I'm currently going through the "DaVinci Resolve 15 Definitive Guide" to get a basic understanding of the program in its entirety, and I started working on the Fusion lessons. I'm having trouble viewing the clips in the viewer -- all I see is a white screen in both viewers.
