Elphinstoners High School was a school established in 1822 in Bombay, India in honour of Mountstuart Elphinstone, Governor of Bombay (1819–1827). In 1834 the Elphinstone Institute was founded, which started the Elphinstone College.

Cruickshank Rd, Bombay. Originally named after the father of its benefactor, the David Sassoon Building for the Elphinstone High School, is a 452 ft long Indo-Gothic structure. It was designed in 1872 by architect George Twigge Molecey, the assistant to James Trubshawe.
