Apr 2, 2018 · Tarun Bharat Sangh (TBS), an organisation established by Alwar-based water conservationist Rajendra Singh created localised water-harvesting structures to recharge groundwater. He initially built a small johad, a semi-circular bund (small stone dam) to intercept monsoon run-off enabling it to percolate into groundwater near Rajasthan’s Gopalpura village.
