Field experiment on loss assessment was conducted at the Main Agricultural Research Station, UAS, Dharwad, during kharif 2017 in randomized complete block design with three replications and seven treatments involving the different number of sprays with hexaconazole (0.1 %) at weekly intervals.
The sarcoptes scabiei infestation was observed more 41 (19.09%) whereas Demodex canis was less 21(6.70%) different breeds of dogs. The mite infestation was recorded highest (27.36) in 6-12 months of age group as compared to other age groups. The males were more susceptible (21.83%) to the mites infestation than females (17.26%).
The current study sought to identify genetic polymorphisms in TLR1 and TLR2 and their association with natural resistance to brucellosis. Mutations in the coding regions of TLR1 (+1380 G/A) and TLR2 (T385G) were used to identify the polymorphism in 362 samples of cattle and buffalo using PCR-RFLP.

The ‘t’ value was found to be significantat 1% level of probability for the study area (t=16.670). The productivity was found71.20 q/ha before mechanization and 198.10 q/ha after mechanization.
