He is the twenty-first Governor of the Reserve Bank. Dr. Reddy is the Chairman of the BIS Asian Consultative Council (ACC) for a term of two years from March 2007. He is also currently the Chairperson of SAARCFINANCE, a Group of Governors of the central banks of SAARC member countries. Dr. Reddy was born on August 17, 1941.
