Lilith ( / ˈlɪlɪθ /; Hebrew: לִילִית, romanized : Līlīṯ ), also spelled Lilit, Lilitu, or Lilis, is a feminine figure in Mesopotamian and Jewish mythology, theorized to be the first wife of Adam [1] and a primordial she-demon.
