Sep 7, 2015 · The last rites of music composer Aadesh Shrivastava, who passed away battling cancer, were held at the Oshiwara crematorium, Mumbai. Actor Anil Kapoor, singer Sonu Nigam and his wife Madhurima Nigam, Sudhir Mishra, Shekhar Suman, Pahlaj Nihalani, Anees Bazmee, Babul Supriyo, Raju Shrivastava and Ratan Jain were among those who were to bid last respects to the late singer.
The music of the film has been conducted by the duo Jatin–Lalit and Aadesh Shrivastava. All the songs were written by Javed Akhtar , except one song called "Layi Ve Na Gaye", written by Babu Singh Maan .

Sep 6, 2015 · Aadesh Shrivastava had been undergoing cancer treatment at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital in Andheri for over 40 days. "Mr Aadesh Shrivastava (51) expired at 12.30 am on September 5, 2015 in Kokilaben Hospital due to cancer," Dr Ram Narain of the hospital said.
