Defence Pension Training Institute (DPTI), Allahabad was inaugurated by Shri A K Antony, the then Hon’ble RM in presence of Hon’ble Shri M M Pallam Raju, the then RRM, on 28 th March 2008. This is only institute in India of its kind which imparts training exclusively on pension matters.
It aims at enabling the service personnel to verify his/her details before sanction of pension. On the basis of details verified in PDV, the PPO is generated and pensionary entitlements are sanctioned.

Jan 22, 2022 · Know Your New PPO No Pensioners are getting messages from PCDA(P), Allahabad that their account has been created on SPARSH portal. Every defence pensioner is allotted with a Pensioner ID, Username & Password.
All Pensioners (Pre Sep 2021), of all Private & Nationalized Banks will have their pensions migrated from CPPC to SPARSH controlled by PCDA (P) Allahabad. Fifty percent of 30 Lakhs accounts of Defence Pensioners have already been transferred to SPARSH and balance will be transferred by March 2022.
