Jonesboro (/ ˈ dʒ oʊ n z b ʌ r ə /) is a city located on Crowley's Ridge in the northeastern corner of the U.S. State of Arkansas. Jonesboro is one of two county seats of Craighead County. In 2023, the city had an estimated population of 80,560, making it the fifth-most populous city in Arkansas.
Impressive upgrade of Centennial Bank Stadium. My wife and I attended a reception held in the club level of Centennial Bank Stadium during a business conference that was conducted in Jonesboro this past October. The upgrade in the facility is impressive. The stadium is one of the nicest in the Sun Belt Conference.

May 8, 2024 · Jonesboro is the largest community in northeast Arkansas and the fifth largest in the state. It is the Craighead County seat (though Act 61 of 1883 created the “Eastern District of Craighead County,” providing for the establishment of another county courthouse at Lake City due to early difficulties in travel).
