Feb 23, 2022 · London has been named the world’s most “magnetic” city for the 10th year in a row. It held on to the top spot despite Brexit and COVID-19. But there are challengers, with Madrid entering the top 10 for the first time.

- London is one of the most multicultural cities in the world, with over a third of its population born in a foreign country. You can find restaurants serving national dishes from almost every country on the planet, which means you never have to go to the same place twice.
- It has history going way back. There's evidence to show that there were settlements in London as far back as 4500 BC. However, London officially began life as a city after the Romans invaded England in 43 AD, which they called Londinium at the time.
