Izzy Davies (also Cornwell) is a fictional character from the British Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks, played by Elize du Toit. She made her first appearance in 2000 before leaving in 2004. The character then briefly returned in October 2007.

Isabel Prudence "Izzy" Davies (née Cornwell) is the daughter of Patty and Roger Cornwell, and the ex-wife of Ben Davies. She received her middle name from her great-aunt Prudence.
2000-2001: Arrival
Izzy is first seen in September 2000 when she arrives as a new tenant for Tony Hutchinson as well as a new student for the local Hollyoaks Community College. Izzy ends up nearly drowning in the college swimming pool however she's thankfully saved by Adam Morgan and Izzy instantly charms Adam to the point Adam finishes his relationship with his current girlfriend Geri Hudson this led to a brief feud between both Izzy and Geri. Later on Izzy would actually begin to date Adam but their relationship was rather short lived when Izzy found out Adam had hidden camera's in Tony's flat where she resides in for his very own film project. Izzy continues to feud with Geri for the best part of a whole year often making remarks to one another however the feud seemed to reach a climax when the Izzy and Geri went head to head in a competition that was named "Game 4 IT". Which was a charity event created by the students. Izzy lost the competition and this prompts her to move in the local pub known as The Dog in the Pond as well as bagging her self as barmaid working there. Izzy then briefly date local mechanic Dan Hunter but like her relationship with Adam she and Dan's relationship only lasted a very short while. Izzy would later often start a friendly clash in late 2001 with Ben Davies. Izzy and Ben would often wind each other up mainly in a flirtatious manner. Izzy jokingly tricked Ben into thinking that she loves to have sex in random and public places. In the late night special Hollyoaks: Indecent Behaviour. Izzy would trick Ben on top of an open double decker bus by blind folding Ben as well getting Ben to undress all of his cloths, Izzy then takes all Ben's belongings and leaves the bus leaving a naked and blindfolded Ben exposed.
2002: Personal Issues & Relationships with Tony Hutchinson
Izzy was devastated when she discovers that her parents have gotten a divorce at the start of 2002 and is eventually joined sporadically by her mother Patty who begins dating Izzy's landlord, Jack Osborne. Izzy begins to also have run ins with Scott Anderson who is known to have raped Beth Morgan. Izzy finds Scott's charms often off putting and continues to turn Scott down both Tony and Ben both on separate occasions tell Scott to leave Izzy be. Izzy would later have a heart to heart with Tony over her great difficulties and the two would grow closer to the point they begin a serious relationship with one another. Tony and Izzy eventually got engaged and seemed like their relationship was relatively stable however Izzy is left feeling like a spare part when Tony's ex fiancée Julie Matthews returns to help Tony open his knew restaurant know as Il Gnosh. Izzy would eventually call off her engagement with Tony as well as ending their relationship when she discovers that Tony has not only got engaged to Izzy but Julie too.
2003: Relationships & Marriage to Ben Davies & Scott Anderson's Charms
Izzy along with most of the villagers are shocked to learn that Scott is the new owner of the local night club The Loft at first Izzy is disgusted with some like Scott whom is a known rapist is allowed too have the freedom to do what he likes and when a body is discovered near the Loft. Izzy suspects Scott is the Killer. However the unthinkable happened when Scott approaches Izzy in The Dog and while at first she's shocked to see Scott she relaxes and let's Scott explain he wants a chance to prove to people his not all bad this leads Izzy to feel sorry for Scott and agrees to not make his life or welcome in the village any harder. Izzy is delighted when Ben asks her out and the two begin to date but is halted when Izzy goes travelling for two months with her friend, Chloe Bruce. Izzy and Scott start growing closer and when Ben gets the wrong end of the stick he punches Scott which shocks Izzy and later on when Jake Dean tells Ben that he over heard Scoot mention Ben's name to a couple of heavies, Izzy confronts Scott who tells her that he wasn't going to get Ben hurt and only told the heavies who hit him. Izzy begins to fall heavily in love with Ben as the two would grow closer and closer. When Izzy returns she wants to have a relationship with Ben and is upset when it seems Ben is not paying her any attention but after Izzy has a minor accident at the II Gnosh. Izzy is delighted to find Ben at her bed side and that he aided her help. To which she's shocked when Ben reveals he wants to marry her. Izzy lays down some rules for Ben like a "sex ban" until they are married this upsets Ben later on Scott who is obviously in love with Izzy himself does his best to persuade Izzy not to marry Ben and to be with him. Later on Izzy is told by Scott that Ben had slept with detective, Emma Chambers and she has fallen pregnant. When the wedding day arrives Izzy confronts Ben for the truth about sleeping with Emma to which Ben tells Izzy he did sleep with her while Izzy went travelling and despite not knowing what to do Izzy marries Ben any ways and the two go on their honeymoon.

•Elize du Toit was cast in the Hollyoaks: On the Pull campaign to find new young actors to appear in the show during the Edinburgh auditions where he was called back for further auditions in Liverpool and the role of Izzy was created for her. The other three chosen were Andrew Somerville (Theo Sankofa), Lesley Johnston (Laura Burns) and Marcus Patric (Ben Davies).
•Izzy's middle name was given as "Octavia" in Hollyoaks: Stolen Emails, but as "Prudence" in Episode 1122 (13th November 2003).
