Lt. Gen. Edward Considine (Morris Ankrum): Good ol' Morris Ankrum growls, stomps around, and shouts orders as only he can do. Obviously comfortable in his role of (yet again) an Army officer, Ankrum does his best to convince the audience that the world is in mortal danger from the Giant Claw.
The Giant Claw is about a "flying battleship" terrorizing the world's skies. First discovered by an electrical engineer in the North Pole, the action picks up quickly with the monster attacking an Air Force and a Navy fighter plane.

In fact, Jeff Morrow himself joked that it cost “$19.28”. Interestingly, in the same interview, Morrow gives a ballpark price estimate for a “really good bird” at $10,000 to $15,000.
