Nanjundi Kalyana (transl. Nanjundi's marriage) is a 1989 Indian Kannada -language romantic comedy film, directed by M. S. Rajashekar, starring newcomers Raghavendra Rajkumar and Malashri, with Girija Lokesh and Sundar Krishna Urs as the lead cast.
For her production banner, Vajreshwari Combines, Parvathamma Rajkumar chose to cast Malashree in Nanjundi Kalyana (1989) and gave her the new name Malashri. Malashri’s movie Nanjundi Kalyana Malashri went on to act in two other films with Vajreshwari Combines, Gajapathi Garvabhanga opposite Raghavendra again, and Mrutunjaya with Shiva Rajkumar.

Malashri made her debut as a lead actress in the movie ‘Nanjundi Kalyana’ (1989) opposite Raghavendra Rajkumar. She again did her next film with Raghvendra named ‘Gajapathi Garvabhanga’. Her double role in the movie ‘Rani Maharani’ became famous.
